"I can't praise this office enough. The space is beautiful and welcoming and the front desk staff were warm and friendly. I came in for a chip on my front tooth and Dr. Manning was able to squeeze me in last minute to assure I was wedding ready. Her fine attention to detail left me feeling comfortable and at ease, knowing I was in great hands. The fix was perfection - it even fooled my dentist - and I would definitely recommend Dr. Manning to anyone in search of a wonderful, skilled and friendly Prosth. Thank you for making sure my smile looked perfect!"

Frequently asked questions
Why choose Advanced Dentistry?
Drs. Halmos, Manning, and Redmond are not just experienced professionals — they are empathetic prosthodontists who place your well-being at the forefront. With their warm and welcoming demeanor, combined with a unique chairside manner, they are dedicated to ensuring your utmost comfort and confidence throughout your entire journey.
What is a prosthodontist?
A prosthodontist has finished 3 additional years of dental education to master the skills necessary for all types of dental restorations. While a dentist is trained to handle all routine dental care and minor dental procedures, prosthodontists have extra training to replace teeth and restore oral health and function throughout the entire mouth.
What makes you different from a general dentist?
We do more than just “fix a tooth.” As a Portland prosthodontics office, we consider both the function and aesthetics of your smile when recommending and conducting treatments. At Advanced Dentistry, we also have top-rated lab technicians and an in-house master ceramist to ensure your final restoration and smile is absolutely perfect.
Do you offer free consultations?
We do not. Our consultations are actually extremely detailed examinations. Our goal is to provide the highest level of care at every step of the process. During your new patient exam, you will often have as much as an hour and a half of one-on-one time with the doctor to discuss your current concerns, past dental history, dental conditions, and various treatment options. Our consultations are carefully designed to put you one step closer to resolving your concerns and improving your smile. Learn more about paying for treatment at our office or call (503) 352.3224.
Can I schedule a 6-month dental hygiene cleaning appointment here?
As a specialist office, our focus is on restorative care. We do not offer general dental cleaning appointments. Most of our patients have a general dentist who they visit for regular check ups and dental cleanings.
Do I need a referral to schedule an appointment?
No, we do not require a referral. However, we have excellent relationships with dentists throughout Portland and are highly referred. If you found us through a referral, we are happy to have you!
Do I need to book a new patient exam?
Yes, we want to get to know you, your situation, and your dental health. Taking this time to fully understand your dental health leads to the best treatment recommendation and high-quality, long-lasting results. Whether you have an idea of what treatment you need or aren’t sure where to start, we invite you to schedule a new patient exam.
